First Snow Day
And the snow begins! Well we will be having a white Christmas here in Belgrade Montana. We have already had lots of snow and it is snowing as I type. The boys have been loving it!
Yellowstone National Park
Peter and I took a Saturday and drove threw the park. We figured since Peter had never been and I hadn't been since the 7th grade, and people come from all around the world, and it's right out our back door we should probably check it out. I must say we had a lot of fun and a quiet car ride is always a plus.
Halloween
Oh boy Halloween was a huge hit this year! We decided not to even give them an option of what they wanted to be, so it was Zorro all the way around.
Carter's 6th Birthday
Well another birthday has come and gone, some how we didn't document this one very well. Carter was very excited about his kite. I can't believe he is 6! Where does the time go?

Carter Lost His First Tooth
And it begins, the loose teeth. Just the thought of it makes my stomach turn. I think I cried every time my mom pulled my teeth. It never hurt, I would just get myself all worked up. The teeth pulling will definitely be Peters job.
Little Milk Drinkers
Our boys love milk, almost to the point of obsession. We buy 14 gallons and that will usually last us about 2 weeks. They all drink it the same way too. So this is not an uncommon sight at any given moment.
Rock Climbing
We took the boys rock climbing for the first time. We had a great time. Carter love it he scrambled right up that mountain. Owen cried hysterically. Simon could only get up about three feet but he loved just hanging there. Wilson was too busy chasing the dog bossing him around. We are looking forward to our next trip.
Zorros
I made the boys some Zorro masks and capes. They were in heaven, they didn't even mind the leopard print material.
Frenchtown Triathlon
Peter ran his second triathlon. He finished it twenty minutes faster then this first tri so he was very proud of himself. I had to listen to him the whole way home tell me how amazing he is. We were very proud of him.
Wilsons Big Boy Bed
Wilson is an official big kid, he is now potty trained and in a big boy bed. He looks like a little peanut in that big bed. He loves it though, he tells his brothers they can't go in there.
First Day of Kindergarten
Carter started kindergarten this year. He was so excited to start. Peter took the morning off so we could walk him to school. He was so brave, there was a little girl in front of him that was crying her eyes out, he started looking a little concerned but they wisked him away before he could melt down. When we picked him up at the end of the day he informed me he was thinking about skipping school to spend more time with his family.

Ashleigh's All Married
Well Ash did it, she moved out of our basement, oh and she got married:) The boys had been looking forward to the wedding all summer. Ashleigh got them each a bow tie and they were in heaven. Carter told me he was a little nervous to wear it but I don't think it was too bad for him in the end. He sure looked handsome.
Happy 4th Birthday Simon and Owen
I have no idea where the time has gone. I can't believe these little weirdos are 4. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting in the Ronald McDonald House feeling sorry for myself. We had such a great day hanging out as a family celebrating our sweet litte birthday boys.
Great Grandma and Grandpa Schmidt
We were able to stop in Utah and see Peter's Grandma and Grandpa. The boys had never met them and they were so excited to get to meet their "old grandma and grandpa". It was nice to see them. We somehow managed to have the ambulance and a firetruck there within the first half hour of our arrival, but that is just how we like to do things.
Our Triathlete
Peter ran is first triathlon this summer. He did great! The boys were so excited to cheer on their dad.
Camping with the Dunnigans
We had such a great time camping with Kelly and Clarance and their funny little guys. The camp ground was a gravel pit so we spent a lot of time at the lake. Might I add we did not walk away with even one sunburn, for me that is amazing. You gotta love the Schmidt fair skin gene.
The 4th of July
We were able to spend part of the 4th(technically it was the 3rd) with the Janzens. We had a great time and it made us remember how much we miss seeing them on a regular basis.
Father Son Campout
Peter took the boys on their first ever father son campout. They all returned safely so we considered it a huge success. Peter got them each their own head lamp and when they pulled out of the drive way they were all crying because he wouldn't let them turn them on in the day light. I know it's hard to imagine my boys crying:)
